I had experience giving speeches in the military, but giving them in the "real world" is so much different. The use of expression is a major difference. I think I will take a lot from this class. I am a full time student with a full time job and 5 daughters. This semester I moved, got married, had my fifth child(well my wife did the hard part), and became a foster parent. With all this going on I have fallen a bit behind and, as you can see, am playing "catch-up". Next semester should be smoother. I have been surprised by how many avid Atheists are sons of "clergy". Marquis de Condorcet and Frederick Nietzsche are two of the more prominent names I've run across. I wonder if their upbringing turned them away from religion or if it gave them the inherent knowledge most of us spend lifetimes searching for that freed their minds from religion. It is much like a rollercoaster, I love it. pp.10&lt;br /&gt;- It showed preparation. pp.11&lt;br /&gt;- Channel-Microphone. pp. 19&lt;br /&gt;- Situation- Formal yet not in a large room nor a large audience. Very little interference as everyone was "on the clock" and focused on the presentaion.  pp. 22/23&lt;br /&gt;- Showed Honesty and personal dignity. pp.39&lt;br /&gt;- Sighted references (plagiarism). pp.43-47&lt;br /&gt;- I prejudged the speaker.
